Sakana usually comes off as quiet, polite, and a little unassuming at first. At work, she gets flustered pretty easily and doesn’t handle pressure very well, but she’s always trying in her own way. (And it shows if you pay attention.)She tends to match the energy of the person she’s with, so how she acts can change depending on who she’s talking to. Conversations aren’t her strong suit, which can make her seem a bit awkward at first. It’s less that she doesn’t have anything to say, and more that she struggles to express herself and often holds back.Every now and then a more stubborn, slightly bratty side peeks through. Usually around people she’s a bit more comfortable with.

Mannerisms
Sakana carries herself with sort of neatness, posture straight and composed when she’s idle or at work. It softens around people she trusts.Her gaze rarely stays in one place for long. It drifts when she speaks, especially when she’s shy or flustered. Sakana tends to avoid holding eye contact for too long. When choosing her words carefully, she’ll pause, eyes going off to the side as she gathers her thoughts. Her voice is quiet, almost gentle, and even in louder environments she barely raises it enough to be heard above the noise.Her nervousness shows in restless habits like: fingers tugging at fabric, hands twisting together without thought. When she's excited, it is harder to hide. Her tail gives her away, tapping lightly against her leg or seat. She's much more chattier.She isn’t difficult to read. a simple life & a silly chef

"You'll see, I'll be a great chef one day!"
With her childhood friend, Khulan Dotharl, the young Sakana journeys to Eorzea and they both begin their new lives in Thanalan. With the help of a gracious hyur, they're able to board at in inn within the Goblet. The Lily of the Valley becomes her new home and she grows fond of the community already established there. She quickly is employed as one of the inn cooks. Along the way, she becomes enamored of the different cuisines found in Eorzea.In present time, she's working as a private chef for socialites of Thanalan's High class along side a small team.

- Veteran Business owners: Co-managing a tavern has been a challenge. She's willing to strike up a conversation or take advice to other's who struggled the same trials and triumphed.
- Foreigner: You're also from the East and find these Westerner's customs strange? She's also on the same boat. Figuratively and possibly.. literally.
- Of the Sun: You've heard a strange Xaela claiming to be from the Oronir tribe. Except she carries a name that a Raen would. Curious, you seek her out to see what kind of story she has.*I'm also open to brainstorming other ideas!Please note:
_Due to Sakana being part of other personal plots of different individuals. Any interactions taking part in Eorzea will differ slightly if your character meets her again in Yanxia. Her timelines are split into two due to the reason stated above. _

A year after the liberation of Doma. Sakana finds the call of returning back to Yanxia stronger than ever. Hearing the restoration efforts in the new Doman Enclave brought thoughts that she could possibly help her fellow countrymen returning Doma back to what it once was. Another reason for returning to Othard was there was a lot left undone. If you were to ask her peers back in Eorzea what the real reason was, they would give you the same answer: "To take back half of her heart."In present time, she had taken up a role a small role in the Shazenkai: becoming a merchant in the Azim Steppe's Reunion and an associate of Kugane's Trade Board. Her job is to import wares from Eorzea while exporting Doman goods, distributing them in the Steppe. She's also going back and forth between Yanxia and the Steppe. Sakana is often seen traveling to the Dawn Throne to stay with the Oronir .

Role-Playing Hooks
- Business Partners: Ever since she dipped her hands into running her own business, she had never thought of reaching out to others for advice. Whether you're a trader of the Reunion, or a budding merchant in Kugane, or even a fellow Doman aiding the restoration, she's interested in seeing what you have to offer.
- Homeward bound: If your character is also returning to Othard to help with the restoration of Doma or because the Garleans are finally no more; Sakana is always welcome to befriending fellow returnees. Living in the West had made her adopt a lot of quirks and mannerisms. Maybe your character has done the same.
- Steppe Dweller: You've seen the Auri in the Reunion a couple times at her own stall. Her wares consists of items brought from Eorzea and the neighboring country, Doma. For whatever reason, she seems a little clueless for a Half-Xaela who supposedly has Bairon roots. You've also caught wind that she's a ward of the Oronir..
- Paying Tribute to the Sun: If your character happens to be from the Oronir tribe or even the Budaga, Sakana is in and out of the Dawn Throne. Your character might have seen her around and may be curious as to why a 'Bairon' got special permission to stay with the Oronir. (She also is seen wearing the tribe colours as well..)*I'm also open to brainstorming other ideas!

What am I looking for?
- New RP contacts and friends. I've been on the down-low for a few years and wish to meet new people.
- Short and long-term plotlines. I don't mind if my character plays a brief or major role. I'm here to be whatever you think will fit with your story.
- OOC Friends. As much as I enjoy my characters meeting new faces, I also wish to make new connections ooc as well. Personally feel it's more organic and natural when both players and characters get along.What am not I looking for?
- Long-term Romance Relationship. For IC and OOC reasons, Sakana will not be open to establish that kind of bond with characters. I am alright if a character develops a crush for her, but I will not be open to progress it further.The Player
- I wanna RP but thats hard to find in FFXIV in the year 2026 lmao pls
- Preferably looking for discord RP since my time for in-game RP is very limited. I also enjoy it since I am more able to go at my own pace. Though, I am open to in-game RP if it's attending events and doing something short.
- Timezone is CST and usually available in the evenings on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and occasionally Saturdays.
- There will be some nights where I wish to have a social life. (But discord threads give me more freedom to respond since I always have my phone on me.)
